Talking to yourself: An act of insanity or intelligence?

I speak to myself..when there are things that are needed to be throughly being discussed and also in making decisions and if it counts, I often have a flaming debate with myself in my head
its a sign of intelligence i guess..hehe

So my question to you is have you ever spoken to yourself and have you liked it?
